Had a battery kill switch built into our Funfinder. Was disappointed when I discovered my Rockwood Ultralite 2304s did not have one. Very simple add-on I got at Lordco, apparently used by hotrodders, dragsters and such. The switch sits on the negative terminal of the battery. There is a "twist/turn" action switch that cuts all current from the battery in the "off" position. Total cost for switch, approx. $20.00 Cdn. The only mod necessary is replacing the stock negative battery clamp with a smaller connection. This connection attaches to the switch apparatus which sits on top of your battery. Does not take up any extra space so the battery box cover still fits.

Battery disconnect

I agree with the others' posts. I put a disconnect on my battery right after installing it. No sense in letting a brand new 225 Ah battery get fully discharged when its not being used, right? I also pulled the battery for the winter and went down and bought a marine battery maintainer for about $25. It is now sitting nicely in my garage on a stool with the maintainer hooked up.

Hope you enjoy your trailer!

battery cutoff switch

Thx. We have become quite familiar with your beautiful coast over the past years. Matter of fact, we bought our Rockwood Ultralite from Country Roads RV in Florence Or. Had a great trip home and it was a good test for the TV. We love the new trailers
