what is it, where's it from?

Found this today, inside, on the steps. Almost clear. Slightly yellow color. Conical shape. Adhesive on flat part. I can't see anywhere that it might have been attached.

Looks like a foot off of an appliance or something. I'd check my coffee pot and whatever else you may have (toaster oven, VCR, iron, etc.). It's not a bump stop for the door is it?

I will tell you where it comes from. On your entry door you have 2 bumpers one on the top and one at the bottom. The bumpers are self sticking. Check if yours is missing?

Possibly a door stopper of some kind?

Well, I've looked around. It isn't from any of our appliances. It is nearly an inch tall. It could be a door stop, but I don't see any others like it and don't see where it would have been attached prior to falling off. There aren't any bumpers there now, so I suppose it could be that. Doesn't seem like it though. Curious little thing.

Here is the proof. I was just saying it was from the door and look at my picture: these bumpers are only self sticking. My son lost his on his new roo last week and the trailer was only a month old!!!!

Okay you've made a believer of me. But I never noticed it before, there isn't another one on the door, and I don't see any "sticky" spot where it had been attached previously (which is why I doubted).
I'll go back and look closer.
Thanks for the solution to my little mystery!

Ovair: you see that the surface they stick to is not flush and no wonder they dont stick. The factory should have used a bumper with a reccessed screw in the middle to hold it better. I dought it would leave any marks because of the little or next to nothing surface it is attached to. You must have lost both of them.
