My wife and I bought a new flagstaff 8528ikws last fall. When I was poking around the storage compartments I found this thing. I have no idea what it is or what it's for. Can anyone help?

My Guess.
A flag pole holder in center and the smaller wooden flags go around in the smaller holes.....

Rhoyle,

Don't feel bad. I just found the same alien part in my storage cabinet over our recliners. It was in the FAR back and were I not installing grip mats I would have never came across it!

I have been RVing for 16 years and I have NO FREAK'N CLUE what this thing is

It mounts vertically *somewhere* but what it mounts and what it holds is beyond me

Planning on taking the darn thing to Goshen with me this year and ask what the heck it is at the plant!

It is a television mount - I had to ask the experts on here a couple weeks ago 👍

TV mount. The flat part will screw to the lower back portion of the tv and the circular part snaps into a base stand.

I'm pretty sure TexasBob is right, I will have to wait for the DW to get home to verify that.

Somewhere in your RV is a black plastic base. This blue post (and it appears they're *all* blue) is the post that goes between the television and the base, to make it a free standing counter top television.

ODD ODD ODD...in MY rig, the only TV that is moveable is the Bedroom TV...and that TV can be move to the already installed TV mount in the basement (little known fact unless you have a killer PDI like I had!)

That part was in the TV box in the basement of our new 8280WS as well, and I also had no clue what it was for!
