White Letter Raised Tires

Question, what is the best product to clean white letter raised tires with? The letters are not solid they are out lined. Back in the day when I had them they were solid letters and I used a brillo pad. One thing I can't stand is a nice shiny truck with dirty raised lettering. It's just a thing with me.

I love the OWLs (Outlined White Letter), but like you, I can't stand them dirty. I use Comet or Ajax with a stiff bristle brush.

When I replace the tires on my truck, I hope to go with some LT OWLs to dress it up a bit.

Thanks, I know that a brillo pad would mark up the tires around the letters, I will try the Ajax and or comet.

I've used Westley's Bleche-white Whitewall Cleaner on my raised lettered tires on my Durango. Wally World sells it and it really works well.

X4 I've used Westley since I was a kid and had real wide whites on my '58 Impala! Still use it on the raised white letters.

Thanks for the pic, now I know what to look for. We were at Walmart last night and could not find it. Do they carry it or did I over look it?

If Wal-mart doesn't have it, then Advance Auto or Auto Zone will.

I used Westley Bleche-Wite tire cleaner to day for the first time on my white letter raised tires and man......this is GREAT STUFF......The direction said on the bottle in RED LETTERING not to get it on magnesium or aluminum wheels and painted surfaces, so I made sure that I kept the fenders and wheels well soak with water before I appled Bleche-wite and all worked out great, I used a wet cloth to wipe them clean. To all thanks for the suggestion and for those that have not tried it on your white letter raised tire, give it a try.

Another vote for Westley's Bleche-white Whitewall Cleaner....Works good on any type of white plastic that is stained... the other thing I found it works good on is your awning, it gets rid of the mold and brown spots, looks brand new again.......
