Sounds like you had a pretty poor PDI if your couch has heat/massage and they never told you about it. I had looked on the website for your rig and didn't even see that as an option.

I also have to wonder how much heat you'll get out of that wall wart and it's skinny little wires.

Now the question is did he get the power supply and controller when he bought the rig?

As you said, it's not even an option on my model, so I'm thinking it's one of those things that is available on other models, using the same couch and all I'm missing is the controls. I would not expect the PDI to cover something that wasn't an option. Nor would I expect them to lift up the couch and find these wires like I did when I was cleaning.

I agree, it probably isn't the best whatever it is. I'm just trying to figure out what it is, and if it is something I'd like to use.

OK. I thought you had the controller. Do you know how much do they want for a controller? You may have actually ended up with a "deal" if you can get it cheap.

I have no idea what controller it would use to get a price. Another user recently posted his new 29HFS that had a couch with heated seats, massage and LED lights. His controls are built into the cup holders, which I don't have.

Maybe if you can get under the couch and look up (or unbolt it from the floor/wall) you can see a name/model or something.

Good luck.

Just a guess. If the couch is in the located in a slideout it could be a stop to prevent the slide from being moved while there is extra weight on the couch.

We added a power reclining love seat to our previous rig, it had the same set of plugs. One was for the 120 to 24 volt transformer the other with multi pins was for the handheld controller, If there not a motor, then previous posts are probably right about heat and or massage, we bought our unit through local furniture store, unit was built by Ashley, If FR does not help you might visit local store and check out power recliner electricals.

Another note, LCI is offering a power recliner and theather seating for rvs, Not sure if FR has picked up on this. Picked one up at Goshen from LCI, they had a tent in vendor area at rally with some of their furniture line.

Just an update, I have gone full circle in trying to clear up this mystery. Started with Chad at Forest River. He didn't have any info so he reached out to the couch manufacturer. They replied it has heated seats and "the customer should plug in the controls". lol I replied that I didn't receive any controls. They replied that they ship all couches with the controls, so I should go back to FR to see why I didn't receive them. So it's been almost 3 weeks of emails, sending pictures of tags etc, and I'm back to square one.

So over a full month later, and I finally received a price, $72 for 1 controller. Not sure why I should have to pay, when both Forest River and the couch manufacturer say the controls were included. Guess I'll fight with the dealer a little more, but for $72, my ass can stay cold.
