winegard Omni Ant

Any feed back on the Winegard Omni Ant. RS 1500 or 2000, there is one of these mounted on the fifth wheel I am looking at and wondering how the reception is, or is a crank up better since it sticks higher in the air. Thanks

Mine works great. No better or worse than the crank up on my old Keystone.

Thanks, I am looking at the Crusader 290, didn't get a chance to see which model ant it was, but had read elsewhere some omni's mounted on the roof just didn't get very good range reception. Still trying to check stuff out about this fifth wheel, Being a new model, not a whole lot of owner info available

I don't know which model I have but it seems to work fine. Nope, not many Crusader owners around yet. Think I'm the only one here so far.

Mine is made by Jensen and it doesn't pull in the stations like the batwings I have had on my other trailers, but the stations it does pick up come in very good. I have contacted Jensen and they are working on it to see if there is something that will help.

I have to go back and look at the paperwork to see just which one is installed, I have already let the salesman know that Iam not too happy about a low DB rating Omni ant. He said if I get the trailer and dont like it they will change it out, now lets see if he will put that in writing, Suppose to go in tomorrow (Monday) and see if they took off the 700 dollar PDI they were trying to charge. Thanks for your info, I will check to see which one is on there.
