Wiper arm tension

We have a 2014 Mirada 29 DS and there is little to no tension on the windshield wipers. In the parked position the wiper blades don't even touch the windshield. With the wipers on and the MH just sitting we get a smeared windshield. When I pull the wiper arms outward there is spring tension. Any ideas on how to adjust the wiper arm tension?

How about bowing/bending the arm. Ive never seen adjustments on any wiper arms but I havent seen all of them.
Good luck!

Ps. I would bet that the dealer will just bow them or order another set

I wonder if the wiper arm is fully seated on the wiper shaft?
