zx 600 stereo quits working

New to the forum, but camping for several years now. I have a Flagstaff 829 RGSS with a ZX 600 stereo. This is the 2nd time it has quit working, i.e. will not power on, on anything. Dealer replace first time, but now out of warranty period so will be out of my pocket. Any ideas on why this unit just quits and can anyone recommend a better replacement?

Just got my zx 600 working again, thanks to a post on this forum. disconnected the rv battery for @ 15 minutes, reconnected. Works like new. With all the issues I've seen posted on this forum, I think I still want to replace with something better. Suggestions welcome.

I have the same unit in my Rockwood. I too have had the "no power" issue. I find it odd that it takes that long to power up. I have seen it power up immediately, and I have seen it take 15 minutes to power up.

Anyway, search the separate Concertone thread under tech and repair and there are many posts about a superior Jensen unit that many owners have switched to.

arnnieb, most replace the Concertjunk with a Jensen RV unit.
you can find them on Ebay or at Camping World.
