So what's the symptom when these units can't cool enough? Is the temperature of the air coming out of them not cold or is it that the RV is poorly sealed and air is escaping and allowing warm air in?

I believe with heat pumps (We have them extensively in Florida) that they don't cool well in dry climates or at least not as good as in humid climates.
