Had a 2008 390BH and was very happy with it. Would still have it if we didn't need the larger residential refrigerator and washer-dryer.

Welcome to the forum. I've got a 2014. But I'm sure 2008 owners will chime in.

Currently we have that exact unit and we LOVE it..... It was #52 off the line and has given us superior service...
When we purchased it, it had only 12K miles on it and it was our first diesel pusher but our second FR MH...
Still looks like new and our only regret is we can't keep if on the road as much as we'd like....
Good luck with your search.....

We have a 2012 390BH60 and absolutely love it. Correct me if I am wrong. I think the 2008 uses Mercedes power plant rather than Cummins. Some old threads spoke unfavorable of that engine.

2008 had two versions of Cummins and one Mercedes available. I believe Ernest917 has the Mercedes, and is very happy with it.

You are absolutely correct - I have the Mercedes engine and it's a fantastic engine.... 1,000 lbs of torque and 10-13 mpg consistently....
I've been on this forum for years and can't remember a single negative comment about the Mercedes engine... This engine has been in production since the late 50's and is used worldwide... I fully recommend that if you find a Berk with this engine - grab it !!!!

I flagged the post but it doesn't seem to be a concern to the admins. Guys a one hit wonder. One post and gone. I just don't see why anyone would bother to do that.

Probably just to annoy the members here and see what he can get away with. Just look at his name.

WE have a 2008 40'. We love the unit. My only caution is where has it been stored. Ours was stored along the coast in Florida and has much more salt water damage i.e. rust etc than I had expected. Wish I had thought of that before our purchase. Regardless we throughly enjoy the MH.

This getting to be really annoying, these one hit wonders. Maybe it's time to limit access to the Berkshire page, web monitors.
