2011 390BH Tank Levels

Our black tank shows full even after we just dumped.

I've been reading the forum and see many suggestions ranging from tide/softener to water + ice to drive around.

What has worked best for you? Have any of you installed the Horst Probes to replace the existing ones? Do they work well and are they easy to install to the tanks?

I've haven't had a problem with mine, but from what I read the water and ice works the best.

My worked fine until I tried the softener and now it reads 3/4 full even after dumping. I have yet to try the ice cubes but I have heard that works good.

I use the Geo method also. I also dump a 5 gallon bucket of water down the toilet before I dump. The other thing I do, is hook a hose to the "cleaner" connection and make sure it does not have a limiter on it and spray the black tank for about 30 minutes. I will close the black tank valve for 5 minutes at a time to let the Tank fill with some water and dump again. Just make sure you don't get disturbed and forget what you are doing. lol. Craig

I dump then fill with fresh water for ten minutes make sure you set a timer. I let it stay full for as long as I can for a few hours if possible. Then dump and rinse.
