I have a new 2012 390BH with the 3 TVs, living room, bedroom and outside.
In the 'entertainment cabinet' there is a DVD player and a 3 input / output AV switch. ( Inputs: DVD, SAT, AUX Outputs: TV1, TV2, TV3 ). All wires are connected to the switch.
When I watch a DVD or satellite the AV switch needs to be switched on to the DVD or SAT for the TV to receive the send the signal to the TVs.
The TVs need to have their input set to 'Video' to play the programming routed to it.
TV1 ( living room ) and TV2 ( bedroom ) works fine but TV3 ( outside ) does not play the DVD or Satellite.
I submitted this issue to my dealer as a warranty claim. During the walk through when I purchased the rig, I was told that TV3 was the outside.
There are wires ( red, white and yellow ) connected to the back of the switch and goes through the wall under the cabinet.
Now the dealer tells me that is not how it works, TV3 outside will only work on the antenna or cable.
I then called Berkshire and asked Matt why would they have a 3 TV output switch in the cabinet and why would they have the wires connected to it and sent through the wall? Where do those wires for TV3 go ?
Matt was going to check on it, he did not have the answer at the time I was talking to him.
A question for other 2012 390BH owners:
Are you able to play DVD or Satellite programs using the TV3 position of the AV switch outside ?
Thanks
