2015 XL Head Light Assembly

I would suspect all the problems is not with the bulb, but with the manufacture of the headlight assembly. My headlights on my 2012 are generic headlights made in Taiwan. Sure they may fit a certain vehicle but they are junk if made in Taiwan. If its a TYC brand more than likely its made in Taiwan if you see the Audi emblem or some sign of original brand your ok. Be careful replacing bulbs, your pig tails may not be able to handle the extra draw and you might burn your plugs. My TYC brand stinks, they have dark spots and I have to run my high beams a lot, hate driving at night.

Rodney I totally agree with your comments. FR told me the head light assembly is a knock off of the OEM style I have seen labels on the assembly that says "Made in Taiwan". Most coach manufacturers when designing a new coach select the head lights first and then build the coach around it. So what are we to do? We obviously can not replace it with another assembly so we try to make it better. One option is HID which in earlier pre 2015 with high and low beams bulbs might work. Because the 2015 XL uses the assembly with a shutter might not be an option. A suggestion from Kaper II is mount another light similar to a fog/running light this requires cutting a hole in the cab but with an HID bulb would provide more light on the road and then you don't have to worry about the bad design of course don't attempt this if you're still under warranty I am sure it would void it unless you can convince FR to do it.
