2016 Berkshire XL 40BH-380

Hi everyone, we have a 2016 Berkshire XL 40BH-380 being built. Just received an update Friday and the chassis work is completed and it will start 4 days on the line in the factory in Monday January 11.

It then goes to paint for 2-3 weeks and we should have if delivered sometime in late February.

Can You all advise how you like this model and floor plan. I've read the water heaters are better on these newer models.

This is our 3rd coach and I can't sleep in anticipation. Happy trials everyone. Here's to Safe travels in 2016!

Cheers,

Art

Welcome to the club, Art. Keep us all informed of your progress. The BH models seem to be very popular. Can't help much more than that, I've got an FL.

2016 Berkshire XL 40BH-380

We just traded in our 2016 Georgetown 350xl for your exact model with the white diamond package. I'm just a little worried about the 380hp motor and wish they had a 400hp option to upgrade to. Ours is being painted this week and we should have it in one month.

We had liked the floor plan the most out of everything we saw. I really liked the features and motor on the discovery, but my wife hated the floor plan. I will miss the larger motor, powered 50amp reel plug and water reel the most.

We had our fair share of shake down issues when we purchased our gas GT. Can anyone let us know what to expect with our new Berk dp?

Thanks

Don't be worried about the 380. A few of us have the 340 and have no problems. and love our fuel economy. Once you guys get your coaches you'll have lots of questions and we are glad to help fellow owners.

I've got a 2012 390bh, and with three kids it is the best. You are going to love it. As for the motor, it's an ISL just like the 400 and with 1150 ft lbs, (compared to my ISB 340/660) that is going to be awesome.

Congratulations! You will LOVE it. We have the same coach in white diamond like sirozz. We picked ours up in late September. The water heater is great and it is wonderful to know that it is not going to run out on you. . You are getting it just in time to figure it all out for camping season - enjoy!

Welcome! I wouldn't worry one bit about the engine!! Plenty of power and excellent fuel economy!
