2017 Berkshire XL Headlights

Anyone know the headlight bulb number used in the 2017 Berkshire XL? Must get something better. Welcome suggestions, would prefer a direct replacement.

Have searched this forum, but, most if not all threads do not reference the 2017 model year.

I would pull it and make sure you know what you have in there. Then go on the interwebs and find the high intensity kit for that bulb.

Is in storage and hard to access. Thought someone may know.

Rick Carson Jr. gave me the info after installing the same thing on his rig.

I replaced both the headlight bulbs and fog lights as I enjoy driving at night. I took a 5000 miles for the holidays and I spent a lot of time at the wheel at night. Both lights worked flawlessly, nice and bright but not blinding to incoming traffic. I never once got “flashed” by incoming traffic. The increase in visibility was amazing. It is an easy installation, plug and play for the headlights and simple wire coupling for the fog lights (they are just held with caulk)

Fog lights (make sure you order two as they come as single unit)

Were you able to re-install the rear cover on the enclosure with these replacement bubs?

No I did not as I was afraid that the larger bulb assembly would get too hot, so I left it off. It probably would had required a small modification to the enclosure to fit. As I said I drove 5000 miles around the holidays to the East Coast and back, some of it in freezing rain and nasty weather and the bulbs remained dry. If that’s a concern to you, you could fasten a small plastic Tupperware type to the back of the light assembly to keep moisture out.
