2019 Berk windows leak?
Ive got a 19 berk with the frameless windows. Was in my first big rain and at least 3 of the windows leak. This normal? Typically is this just a caulking issue?

We had the same problem with our 2017 Legacy, turned out that it wasn't the window leaking, the leak was at the slide topper frame that wasn't sealed at the factory.

How did the water make it onto the inside of the window glass in that case? And do you have any specific pictures where it came in? I have the berk in a heated garage at the moment so I’m not too too worried about it but I’m about to use it for a month straight so I’d like to get it resolved before that.
By the way, the videos above were shot with all of the slides open.

The leak was coming from the top of the frame. Slides were out when pics were taken.

2019 Berk windows leak?
Have any pics of the outside if the rv where the water came in? I’m not clear on why there was an issue with the slide topper, but water ended up coming in through the window glass.
And how about my drivers window? There’s no slide or slide topper there.

I must have misunderstood your post, at first I thought the water was coming from the frame and glass as that's where the water was running out of. Sorry for the confusion.

So anyone have any advice for the multiple windows leaking? Just a caulking issue maybe ?

I have a 2019 Cruiser travel trailer and had issues due to this....one gap was about 1 inch and the other about 1.5 inches. Dealer ordered and cut to size and it fixed the issues.

anyone know the recommended sealant type that works best for these RVs? There's multiple ones online people talk about but I didnt know if FR had a specific type they like to use? OR is there a sealant chart they have?
so far it seems like a lot of people like the 3M FastCure 4000 Marine.

they should be caulked around the top and down the sides as far as possible of every window. You could call them and ask what they use to seal this. i would ask Forest River to send you a couple of tubes.

Our co-pilot side window leaked. (2017 XL 40A). At Goshen, the techs sealed the top and a bit down the sides with a silicone RTV caulk. Not the most elegant (they did not remove the window and seal it), but, it worked.

I was just wondering if there was a trick to sealing the top of a frame-less window because it hinges at the top so there needs to be a gap there anyways for the motion. So not sure where to caulk and where NOT to

Wow. That's pretty ballsy. Crappy installation and they just slap some goop on it after you paid them what, $600 ?
