390BH Accent Lights and Dimmer

the control panel next to the TV has a space for accent lights and a dimmer. They are currently just capped / blank. The wiring and switches are already there. You can see them if you look inside the entertainment center towards the panel / thermostat area.

Does anyone know how to finish the install of these? What lights,if any, are they currently tied to?

I assume that these are here because it is a "standard" install. Maybe this same panel is used in the Charleston, I dont know.

On our unit these are the overhead lights with dimmers in the Living Room area. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have something there. Did you check with your dealer?

Mine are capped also. I think that is because I have fluorescent lights in the living area and they are not dimmable (sp?). Are the light in your living area fluorescent also?

Mine are all LED lights. They really give off a real nice soft light and you don't get the heat like you do from other kinds of light.

Justin,
Don't know how you would change over to LED's. You would probably have to change the fixture as well and I don't know how that would work with the padded ceiling. Are there LED's in the shape of the fluorescent bulbs currently in fixtures?

Follow up to Accent lights

Did you ever find a location to tap into the accent lighting in your Berkshire?

Thanks
