AC efficiency

I live in Florida (where it is HOT!) and park my 390FL MH in the side yard, hooked up to 50A shore power, when not traveling. I run both AC units, set at 80, to avoid humidity issues. During the day on or the other of the units is running at all times. Question: what is the best setup scenario to minimize AC running? eg. Close main AC direct outlet to force max use of duct system or leave it open; set main AC higher or lower than bedroom unit; close off bath area where shower skylight lets in heat or leave it open. Lots of variables to choose from and hopefully someone has determined which is most efficient.
Thanks in advance

Efficient - there's not much to choose from but you could set one unit for AC operation and just use the fan for air circulation on the 2nd unit. Both units share the same ductwork. This would save you from having to set both units and have them turning on and off. But the one set on AC is probably going to run almost non-stop trying to satisfy the t-stat. the other issue unless you go out each evening and turn the fan only unit to automatic, it will run 24/7. Since the R-Valve of a motorhome is not very good your units on sunny hot days are going to run for long periods of time until the sun gets off of the coach. Personally I'd leave the dump grille closed so the air is evenly distributed.
