Adjust seat

OK I'll take the chance that I'm going to sound stupid here but we where talking about the power seat on the Berkshire and the fact that it always seemed like the steering wheel was in the way of seeing the gages. I always hated that I couldn't adjust the height of the seat. I figured it out the other day. If you hold the two toggle switches at the same time up or down it will raise or lower the seat. I thought it was the single round button that did it.
OK you may now feel free to tell me you knew this and how could I have missed such a easy thing for so long.

Did you try adjusting the steering wheel? There is a pedal to the left of the brake pedal. If you push and hold the pedal, you can adjust the steering wheel forward and backward and if you pull on it or push on the steering wheel, you can adjust it up and down. That is the way it is on my '08', hopefully yours is the same.

Yes ,I did but I could never get the seat just right. I laughed at myself when I found that I could raise or lower the seat. I new there had to be a way it just took me a year to figure it out.

Thanks for the information! I'm sitting here in Kissimmee, Fl

and you taught me something new. Don't feel stupid either as we all learn things along regarding our rigs.

well on a similar topic and at the same risk that Phil took I'll ask......I am nearly 6' tall and find that the pedals are just a bit farther way than I find comfortable. I have the seat as far forward as it will go electrically it seems, so is there something I am missing that will make it go forward more?
It's an '08

I'm 6' tall also and I have the seat all the way forward. My wife wants to learn to drive the MH and I don't think she could reach the pedals.

Interesting. We have a 2008 390TS and my wife is 5' 4" and doesn't seem to have an issue. I will admit that the gas pedal is rather heavy and cruise control is a must on the highway.

Had the same problem with DW reaching the pedals so had the dealer move the entire seat forward a couple of inches. But also by doing so can't turn the seat around now. Win some lose some. Rather have the DW able to drive then turn the seat.
