That is how they tow motor homes. I guess that it is because it is lighter to lift than the rear where the engine is. Also, easier to get under the front wheels than the rear ones.
JC- happy to hear that all is fixed and you are back on the road. Also, it was interesting that Freightliner arranged for the tow. Hadn't heard of them doing that before.

The rear bodywork of a Moho has an rise. The front does not and would scrape the road.

Just seeing that "in the hook" shot makes me nervous! That day would definitely include an antacid and a nerve pill for me!!!
Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us!

I'm guessing you would talk the tow truck driver into letting you drive.

Its really fun when the tow driver does not know how to hock you up and you have to show him like I did. Really a confidence booster.

Have had ours towed, lucky the driver knew what he was doing. We have coachnet and they arranged the tow and lined up a cumins/frightliner dealer for the repairs.

Skip I just went with Coach Net replacing Good Sam's. No real reason for the change. I changed right after yours was towed I think.

I think wanderingbob is referring to something that has a valve, like a tire. That valve has a center core that can loosen or go bad causing air to leak out.

Plus there is a very good Coach-Net representative that comes to Goshen every year. Never seen Good Sam there
