Air Filter

Has anyone ever put a K&N air filter in their coach? I have the Mercedes 926 and I really want to put one in mine.... I guess I'll need to find a source for it first....

a lot of info on K&N filters out there... best I can tell K&N filters have been proven over and over again to not filter as much dust/dirt as OEM filters however, they do allow more air flow! IMHO any power gains/mileage gains would be negligible and not worth allowing more dust into your engine!

I think this is one of those topics that will have a thousand different responses.

IMO stick with stock paper filters. After seeing several dyno test done, they actually rob horsepower. We spent about $20,000 on our stock car engines and I would never run a K&N on them, always paper, just replace it a little more often.
