Air Mattress

Has anyone used an air mattress for occasional guests? Any tips at best brands?

We love ours.... Our 6'1" 17 yr old grandson leaves the sofa bed folded up and puts the air mattress on the floor and love it...

Our mattress has a built-in pump and you can set the firmness you want. The pump then maintains that setting throughout the night.... The pump then deflates the mattress...

It stores in a bag and we put it on top of the washer/dryer....

So do you deflate it during the day?

Mattress is a stand-alone one.... Not associated with sofa at all.... We deflate it in the AM, bag it and store over washer until next night needed.... Works perfectly....

We only used that thing they call a sleeper sofa once.... Awful....

We have an air mattress that we have to put on top of the sleeper sofa to make it comfortable enough to sleep on.

We do that too. We also can put another air mattress in the kitchen and sleep two adults or three little kids on each. We have had as many as nine during a storm last summer when it was too stormy for the tents some were using. It was tight, but doable in our 26 ft. TT.

We use an air mattress on our main bed in lieu of the cheap one we got initially. We also use a topper pad and it performs very well. We deflate it when we return home.

We do the same, use a electric pump to blow it up at night and deflate it in the morning and leave it under the couch. Works great and guests love it.

We use a queen one that Coleman makes. Works for us.
