Aluminum Rims

The saga of the center hubs is done. If anyone is thinking of changing from steel rims to aluminum know that the lugs are not long enough to use after market hub covers. You will need to order the brackets and hub covers from FL. They are around 400$. I did find after market for the front. All I'm all the cost for rims and covers cost me around 1800$ I would not have done this if I had known. I was quoted 1305$ with my steel rim trade in. That's just the rims. Lug nut covers and Hun covers are the rest and you pay FL prices. It will look good but wow it ain't cheap.

Dang, sorry that you ran into the additional cost. But you're gonna love the aluminum wheels :-)

I just noticed earlier today that I have lost one of the front center hubs I suppose I have to call Freightliner get one of those?

To match I think you will Dan. I found aftermarket that fit. They are a 5 lug cap on the front. Any FL shop should be able to order them.
