Antifreeze odor

I've got a '14 Berk 390FL 60. Anyone else smelling antifreeze when the motor is running? I can't see anywhere that it's leaking and the level doesn't appear to be dropping. I've noticed this since new. Only have around 3k miles on her. Is this normal with diesels? Also, ran it for a little over an hour today and the gauge didn't go much past the cold line, but I was getting warm air from the front heater.

The only time I have smelled antifreeze is when a heater core has a hole in it and is leaking in to the box.
It does not take much for the smell to be noticeable so you may not notice a small loss.

Yep, that's exactly what it smells like, except it's outside the coach. I've changed a few heater cores in my life. No antifreeze smell inside at all. Strange...

Maybe I'll try to see if there are any hoses that I can get to and try to tighten them.

Does this have a DPF on it?

If it has a DPF on it start the motor and let it warm up.
After it is warm does the A/F smell seem to be coming from the exhaust?
If so then you may have a problem with the egr valve.

DPF? Smell is noticeable after the coach has been turned off for a while. Not coming from the exhaust. Definitely smells like warm antifreeze...

It's not uncommon for the temp gauge to not come off cold if it is really cold weather and you're not under heavy load. If you're checking lines for connections, don't forget the lines to your DEF tank. The engine circulates antifreeze to the tank in cold weather to thaw the DEF.
