ArmorAll on slide topper fabric?
Anyone tried this?? I used 303 last time, but being water based it washes right off in the first rainstorm (I'd guess, anyhow).
Carefree says just wash with plain water every so often. BUT having one down to repair, the exposed stitching was all rotted; fabric itself was OK.
BTW, the stitching that rotted was right up where the fabric attaches to the coach. The wind had worked on it so hard that only the last 8 inches or so on each end was still attached to the rail; leaving rain to form a giant pool of water in the center of the fabric.
Instead of re-stitching, we have used super glue all along the entire 16 feet of the canvas. Supposedly that will hold better than stitching. Time will tell if this is a good plan or a stupid idea.
Boowho??
