Automatic awning over driver side slide....

If the temp is over 85 and you are parked with the driver side facing the afternoon sun, your air conditioner will strugle to deep the unit cool. Those big windows just let in too much sun. If the temp is over 90 you will be warm. The passenger side is protected by the awning. I have noticed that some motorhomes have awnings over the driver side slide. Can an automatic awning be installed over the driver side slide? are there shades that can be put over those windows? any ideas?

Yes to both. Slide = Slide topper Windows = Window roll-up awnings.
Check this page (awning type) for examples.
