Mark0224- Did you add the dimmer to an LED setup that came standard on your rv? I am waiting for my new Legacy to come in any day and the dimmer sounds like a good option. My Legacy will come standard with the LED awning lights.
Thanks

I waited a little long, but we're on the waiting list at HR.

Thanks Phil. But it would be great if they find a site for me and you guys are there. Then I can finally get to meet you in person.

I'm really enjoying this thread. We've only had our little Salem Cruiser a few months but I'm dying to buy some lights for the awning (tacky or otherwise) but I can't talk DH into it yet. I've told him if he doesn't decide on some I WILL order the brightest, tackiest lights I can find

and a bug zapper, which here in Texas qualifies as entertainment

and a light that attracts insects so we can hang our starlings cage outside so he can hunt fresh game ;-)

I bought a set of LED's at lowes. Double sided tape on the back. Attached them to the metal flashing under the topper awning of the large kitchen slide. Ran the wire down the side of the slide, tucked in and out of site. Extension cord too. I then run the extension through the round access bay in the top of the front storage bay to plug it in. Dont have to plug or unplug them when using the slide. Use the remote to turn them on/off and change colors. Has worked great so far. No issues. I can snap some pics and post if needed.
