Awning screen

I have a 2014 390BH, I would like to purchase a screen to come off the awning, the awning seems extremely high off the ground, any suggestions on where to get a screen shade?

if you find out the awning type, the manufacturer will probably have one for that particular awning.

ShadePro Inc.: Vista Shade for Electric RV Awnings

Since the Berkshire awnings are at least 9-10 ft off the ground, many of us use the Vista in the link above.
There is a 6 ft section that unzips and stored when travelling.
That leaves only 3-4 ft to roll up in the awning.

It's the only way to go when the awning is 10 ft off the ground.
You can't roll up 10 ft of shade with the awning, so the bottom 6 ft zips off.

And the fabric is NOT close out and overruns like the Beasley which makes them cost more.

What do you do with the Beasley when ready to travel?
Take it off or roll it up in the awning?

I'm not saying the Beasley one piece is not a good shade.
It's just that a one piece doesn't work with our awnings up so high.

Don't want to have to use a ladder to take it down when rolling up the shade.
Too tall to roll up with the awning.

For your information, Beasley does not use close out or overrun material, altho he will sell his overrun material and material he is closing out at discount price, his material is top line.

As for removing, we do the same as you do with the bottom of yours, take it off. We just take off 8' and don't have to mess with a zipper to put it back on.

OK, I just read on Beasley's SunScreen Information page that "All of our fabrics are closeouts or overruns" so that is what made me believe it was. Not that it is inferior material as it looks like it might be Suntex, one of the best. It just made me think that he buys it at a discount due to closeouts and overruns.

The main issue remains. How would you remove a one piece shade from a 10 ft high awning?
HOw is it removed? Slide it out of the channel?

It won't pull down ?
My awning is 8 foot off the ground and pulls down to 6 foot.

No, it does not pull down. There is a slide under it. You can't even reach it from the ground.
And there is not an open slot along the bottom to slide it in and out of.

Auto Dump.

YOu can actually tilt it, but it is not as easy as yours that you can just pull one side down.
There are some locking pins in the arms that can be set to have one side lower, but it is not a quick operation.
