Not really Russell - I can still call in sick - the office is 4 miles away (yes it is a BIG Army base! )

Actually I think you bought us the whole RV park

...seriously... all the recreation facilities are NAF - or "Non-Appropriated Funds" which means no tax dollars were spent in the operation/or construction of the facilities.

Thanks for the kind words Russell - looking forward to seeing you at Goshen - actually the night before we drive up to Goshen - is your 'pad' available on the 3rd?

Bob,
Just make sure you are off that pad by the 11th when WE get there!! And don't leave any mess laying around!! If all this traffic keeps up, Russell is going to start charging for those RV spots! (he can use the money to pay for that new XLT!!!)

No worries Karen -- Russell DID say he did not mind if we dumped the black tank on the lawn by the pad -- something about the grass needing fertilizer?

Thanks for the well wishes Russell!

Not quite ready to roll yet. We will leave here at 1100 on Wednesday and hope to be in Elkhart by dusk!

Weight Police Report:
No Ticket for us!
Full Fuel/Fresh Water/Gray/Black:
GVW is 37,300 with the Coach GVWR at 44,320
We can stash a little over 7K more "Stuff" but where to put it?

we have some load balancing to do but overall we are golden.
Happy Campers!

Don't forget your combined weight rating is in there too. The TOAD and its hitch count against that number. You should be solid because the Berk has a 10,000 pound tow rating and your unloaded Jeep should weigh in about 4800 pounds.

Does the Berk XLT have a 15k tow rating? Could be mistaken but I thought it was bumped up for the XLT compared to the other Berks.

GCWR is 59220 I believe that's including the 15000 lb tow capacity. You are no where near your total capacity. GVWR is not including your toad or trailer.

We are. Drive through the rain and tornadoes to get here. We got here to pouring rain. Missed the tornado by 15 minutes. It tore up our old neighborhood. It hit hard near my sons dental office. Pictures look bad but no damage to his office. Cool rainy day here today. Better tomorrow.
