Basement and compartment lights

I just got my first berk, and we really like it. I'm having a couple of issues (bought used from private seller). The
Gifts in all the under compartments don't work (cargo lights). The light inside the door is on and lit up but nothing. Also the same is true with the exterior outside light. I've verified the bulbs are good and looked high and low at any fuse that looks to resemble something to do with trunk and I can not find a thing.

Ideas???

To start simply, is the cargo light switch on at the panel to the right of the entry door?

Is the switch illuminated? If not, I would check the fuses in the compartment in front of the DS front tire. If it is, make sure the switches on the lights themselves are in the on position.

I would pull that panel of switches off and check the wires behind it. Just to make sure the wires are connected to the switch.

Do you have a multi meter to check for power on one of the cargo lights? If so, pull one of the bulbs and check the light socket.

Each light has their own switch on the light, check & make sure they are on!! Previous owner could have turn them off for whatever reason!

Well got the RV out and got to spend some time searching. To start fuses 10 & 11 run the basement lights however they were not blown. Digging deeper I had power to ever basement light. In replacement of every bulb they were all, yes all burnt out! I found this odd but true!

nd,
having all of the bulbs burned out is indeed odd. The only thing I can think of is that the previous owner left all of the lights on 24/7 for as long as he owned the coach which could be why they were all burned out.
Happy to hear that it was nothing more than burned out bulbs.

I've heard of people turning the basement lights on in the winter to keep some extra heat down there, especially in the water compartment. I personally use two utility lights but that's for another topic.
