bed slide cables adjustment

I've got a '14 390fl and have a lot of slack in the bed slide cables. Last time bringing it in, it's starting to sound a bit noisy. Anyone know how the tighten these? The area above the bed is wood trim. Thanks.

You have to remove the wood trim board. There are screws under the little plastic screw covers. You may have other problems going on though. Are the cables loose on just one side, inside, or outside? Hopefully it's just an adjustment.

All four cables are loose. Adjust from top?

Rich, I guess you know that you're supposed to be just a little slack in the cables?

My cables, and all the ones I've seen, have been tight in both directions.

Yes, the adjustment turnbuckles are above and behind the trim

I'll check it out today. Two turnbuckles? Adjust both? Thanks!

Just adjusted the cables. Hope I did it right. On my model (390fl) the bed must be lifted, slide extended and they are below the bed back against the wall.

Even though you said bed slide, I think we were all thinking wardrobe slide.

I have a 2013 390FL and on a recent 10 week trip to Canadian Maritimes and back I noticed a few days before the end of that great trip that the lower right corner (viewed from the outside) was not closing tightly. It was leaving about a 1" gap that I had to close by manually pushing on it. I just recently had CW adjust the cables and it is back to normal (didn't feel like tackling it myself). My cables are also under the bed. The tech said the motor was making some popping sounds when it brought the slide in so I may be in for some more expense in the future.
