Been Lurking for a little bit - Hopeful New owner of a 2014 390bh

Posted in the Welcome Mat forum as well but the wife and I just put an offer in on a used 2014 Berkshire 390bh (20k miles roughly). Hopefully we get the financing to work out right. Love the MH. Hope to pick it up on 2/10 load it up over that weekend and do a quick turnaround to head to florida on the 14th for 3 weeks. Not sure how much camping is in order to start, mostly got it as the Wife has a very expensive hobby / working on going pro endeavor of Jumping Horses for a living. Going to be my office, and our living space 20+ long weekends out of the year in various places, mostly the east coast, and the mid-west. Far cheeper then hotel rooms when we did the math from last years season.

This is our first MH so been lurking on here and other forums, the Berkshire wasn't our first choice due to the price range, but it happened that a dealer we were talking to got this beauty in 2 days ago, and we had already planned to go see a Georgetown, as well as a couple of other Bunk House options (have a young son that mom is adamant that he is going to follow in her footsteps as soon as he can jump on a pony) with them today, fell in love with it.

Hopefully you all don't mind my newbie questions at times. Again this is our first motor home. Going to be an interesting ride for me.

Worried about winterizing and de-winterizing already as I am in Illinois right now. Current actual house doesn't allow MH to sit in driveway full time. We are already talking about moving closer to her trainer with more land to build a barn for the older single horse power models that don't need the trainer anymore, and this 340 horse power model to live comfortably year round.

Thanks for reading.

Cheers all.

Sounds like a plan. Congratulations on the new motor home. There's a lot of good Berkshire owners here so drop in often.

Funny, sounds like the BH I just traded in for my new QL. If is, it's a great coach.

If you traded in at total value then it is. Drove the quick two hours over yesterday to take a look at it with the wife.

It's it. They emailed me about it and must have put the wrong number down. Didn't think much about it when I was looking at it. Love that I got a pleasant surprise of the 60 over a 40 this morning from Paul. Almost as much as I loved the surprise that it is Paul's as i stalked him a little bit on the forums once the question of previous owners came up
