I just got it in the mail and hope to see if it fits tonight. I measured it and it has 8" from center pin hole to back of bracket.

I believe i was 22-1/2". I have an after market bumper on my wrangler.

Well I got the blue ox with an 8-inch rise. It does clear the back fine. I'm just hoping it isn't too high. I am not airing up until Monday, so I can't measure until then.

I ended up getting a Roadmaster 8" rise hitch rather than have one fabricated. I have 1/4" clearance to the back bumper and the Roadmaster tow bar is level at 24" from the ground when the airbags are inflated.

I'm going to be at about 2.5 inches inside of the three inch max. Just made it.
Someday, when I hit the lotto, I will have one built at 6 inches, but until then,
this one will work.
