Sounds reasonable to me if it gets fixed for that much. Backed into a fence post last fall. Insurance company estimated about 6500. Body Shop estimate 13000. Insurance paid the 13000.

X2 - had some idiot cross 2 lanes of traffic and sideswipe me in my F150 - all they did was take out the running board and a couple of paint chips here and there (car vs truck, car ALWAYS looses )

Anyway the body shop repair bill was a whopping $7,000

My shop's in pain in the --- so far.... Took one week for shop to get me an estimate and here I am starting the third week and no coach yet.... Still don't have an estimate for two other areas I wanted them to paint as well.... Really frustrating....

Gonna do a surprise drop-by tomorrow and see what the ---- is taking so long.....

Ernest we were talking about your repairs and we were wondering if this accident was just a ruse to get your steps replaced. Any truth to that theory?

Well - picked up my coach and just got home after driving in the pouring rain....

When I left the shop and pulled out on I-10, I reached over to turn on radio - dead; camera - dead; wipers - dead (yes drove home (48 miles)in pouring rain with NO wipers). Praise God for rainX... Amazing stuff...

Got home and no 12v lights inside and no driving or docking lights....

Seems everything is 12v related... Cked master switches in battery compartment - turned on....

I'm wondering if sitting there at the shop for a tad over 3 wks allowed the house batteries to run down???

Gonna plug in tomorrow and charge them up and see if that's it... Any suggestions??

Sounds like chassis, not house, 12V problem. Damage to left side, I'd check electrical cabinet in left front , looking for a cable disconnected during repair. Hope it is an easy fix.

Left front is where fuses for radio, wipers, and dock lamps are. Did the heater and a/c work? i do not know how much disassembly was necessary for the fiberglass repair, but the shop may have had to move wiring for the repair..
