Berkshire Club
Hey, we can't let those Georgetown guys get the edge here .
So, would there be any interest in forming a Berkshire Owners Club. Haven't belonged to any other club so I really don't know what would be involved. Let's see if there is any interest and if so, where this goes. If anyone has any experience with other owner clubs or ideas as to what should be done, let's hear from you.

I agree Tom. We should have our own group. Hey there are at least three of us here in NY with Berkshire 390bh's so we've already got our NY Chapter started.

I think the one guy who was looking at the Berkshire ended up with an Entegra. Hey if I was making mega millions a year I'd be looking at an Entegra also!

Just out of curiousity, where is everyone who is interested from? Tom is on Long Island and we are in Upstate NY. How about the rest of you who are interested?

Have some interest....it is easiest to work thru FMCA to get started. We are originally from Rochester, NY before going fulltime, now we stay in Surprise, AZ in the winter and Somewhere, USA the other 7 or 8 months. Where are you from wnytaxman?

We're in Orchard Park near Buffalo. I'm one of those who is still working and will be for a long time as we have 13 year old twins. I'm a self employed CPA so I guess if anyone has any tax questions they can let me know.
Our rig is getting winterized this week and headed into indoor storage in a few weeks. This will be the first time we have stored a diesel so it will be interesting.

Tom,
I was storing the rig in an old feed mill about 20 miles south of here. He was charging me a great rate of $10 per foot or $350 for October through April with our old Itasca. They are a Coachman dealer and I would drop off my rig and have it winterized and then they would store it for me. Now with the diesel I wanted some access during the winter and also summer storage. The guy is charging me $100 per month with full access during the winter and with a 50 amp hookup. I can't beat that one. I was expecting a lot higher costm, but he says he wants to lose money to save on taxes, so who am I to argue?
Ed

Ed,
Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Did you give him the 'losing money to save on taxes' idea?
