berkshire construction

Looking at switching from fifth wheel to Berkshire and looking at construction details but cannot find what is used for the walls , wood vs metal studs. Any info appreciated.

Thanks

We had a jayco 40' pinnacle fifth wheel- absolutely beautiful, functional, well done fifth wheel. Moved to a motorhome and it's built stronger and much, much easier to maneuver around. Loved the the fifth wheels we have had but won't go back.

Metal studs. The construction is pretty rock solid - the roof is laminated one piece fiberglass - the machine that assembles the roof is amazing (big too!)

If you are close or want to drive to Elkhart, they will be happy to give you a personal tour and explain every detail about construction. We highly recommend the tour!

We are former 5th wheel owners as well and, with all due respect to the various FR 5th Wheel divisions, when you move up to a Berkshire you are jumping up several orders of magnitude in build quality, fit and finish. We do not think you will be disappointed with your decision to switch to a Berkshire!

Oh, one other thing...setup & breaking camp is about 200% easier in a Motorhome Plus, if you get to the campsite and it is pouring down rain you can put the slides out, kick back with a cold one, and wait for the storm to pass

Unless it's a back in spot, then you're out there disconnecting the dinghy.
