Chris,
You maybe misinterpreting what was posted on RV Direct. I know at the Buffalo location they had only two Berkshires on the lot. They were both 2013's. I saw by the inventory that they also had one 2013 in Albany and a 2014 in Florida. When I was at the Berkshire Plant in Elkhart last month, they had 45 new units out on the lot ready to go and they had a full production line going. The busiest I had seen them. When I bought my 2011 Berkshire BH390 2 years ago, RV Direct told me they had to sell what they had in inventory in order to get more units in. That maybe the position that they are in. Based upon what I have seen, I can't imagine that the Berkshire line is being discontinued. In fact it seems like they are increasing production. You might want to contact RV Direct to clarify the posting.

RVW doesn't sell Bershires. RVDirect does.
RVW just started selling motorhomes, just Class C, never has sold Class A.

If you look on RV-direct and try and build a class a, they are listing a new forest river diesel motorhome called the legacy..... It is a smaller class a diesel.

Saw one of those at the plant also. I believe it is a 36 foot model. We were told it was a popular model. It was on the same production line as the other Berkshires.

On the Forest River website the Berkshire is still there along with the Charleston, Georgetown, and FR3. Nothing else is shown under the Class A's. Like Craig, I would be really, really surprised if the model is discontinued. Also, to the best of my knowledge RVOne will have serveral Berkshires at Hershey next week.

Must be something specific to RV Direct because FR still list Berkshire as one of their premier units.... Plus there's nothing mentioned anywhere else.....

i have watched rvdirect for years. they are always ahead of the news.
So-
either berkshire is being discontinued or they are going to stop selling berkshires at Albany rv(rvdirect).
they used to sell foresters and lexingtons and Roadtreks.

Chris,
I was just on the RVOne website and I didn't see any reference to the Berkshires being discontinued. Could you provide the link?

Ed,
See picture below from RVDirect.com. RVOne Website does not have the Discontinued note.

FYI
RV One and RV Direct are the same Companies. RV One is their Superstores and RV Direct is their Internet Business.
I just spoke with them and the note of the discontinued Berkshire is incorrect on the Website.

But they don't list the 390bh as one of the models available when you go to the 'build your own' section. They only list the 360ql and 390fl.

Berkshire not discontinued
I too, had heard the Berkshire had been discontinued - and I was just ready to buy. I called my dealer in Alvarado (MHSRV) who put me in touch with the rep - the story is that the 390FL is being discontinued - they just finished the last production run of the 2014 model year and I bought one of the last available. The other models, 360 QL, 390BH and 390RB are still being made. The 390FL is being redesigned enough that they decided to give it a new model name.
