Berkshire Emblem

On my 2019 Berkshire 34QS there is an oval Berkshire Emblem on the front generator slide out that is coming loose. It's held on with a rubber membrane of some sort. There is nothing holding it on that I can see from inside the generator slide out. I wonder if it being held by a two sided tape. I'm hoping someone has dealt with this issue and can tell me how to fix it. I was wondering if some 3M spray adhesive would work.

3M tape recommended also. Accept no substitutes.

Just make sure both surfaces are good and clean.

Went to the storage unit yesterday to take a good look at what was holding the emblem in place. Unfortunately, it has come completely off and was hanging by the wire to the light. When I picked it up the wire broke off. It does'nt look like the wire can be reattached since the led light is incased in the Berkshire Emblem. Now I need to convince Forest River to send me the parts so I can fix it. It looks like the two sided tape was'nt applied correctly at the factory.

I found it weird to be held on with just two sided tape. I would of thought there would of been some screws too. Let me know if your's is held on with screws. My coach was made in August of last year, maybe they made a design change as the year went on. I assume that area heats up with the generator compartment being right there.

I guess they did make a design change or made that fix at the dealership after delivery from the factory. I'm curious if there are any other owners of a 2019 with the four screw fix on here?

Berkshire Emblem

If you use 3M VHB ( very high bond ) 2 sided tape, make sure you also purchase some activator ( comes in a package that looks like a alcohol wipe or glasses lens cleaner ) clean the surfaces, apply the activator to the surface of the coach that the tape will stick to, once you stick it on, itís not coming off!! This 3M activator can be purchased at auto parts stores, they may have to order it for you. The activator is the key factor to the 3M tape making the stick!! You get ONE shot of sticking it on straight, seriously, once it makes contact, you donít get a 2nd chance

Or just use a couple of self tapping screws like FR uses for these now. Zip Zip done deal

I'm taking it in for warranty work later this month and they are going to replace the emblem at that time. It needs to be replaced because the wires that power the light broke off when the emblem fell off. I contacted Forest River and they are sending a new part to the dealer to install when I get there. I'll let you know exactly how they replace the new emblem after that. I was going to replace it myself until I noticed that the wires broke off from inside the emblem and left nothing to solder the wires too.

I have the coach at Freightliner now for a recall that affects the tail lights. My left brake light went out. They need to replace a module for the rear lights.

Not sure Iíd just call and ask. I know they try to accommodate drop ins but when we were down there they had to say no to some people they do have spaces some with electric and a smaller nice lounge you can even bring in your dog leashed to hang out. Time it good and you can also take the tour of the factory, different location must be in that office prior to 10am M-F

I have no idea of the cost but they fixed my emblem earlier this month. The one sent by Forest River to fix it was found to be damaged when opened. Forest River had one brought over from the factory the same day and the problem was fixed. It was replaced just like the original with two sided tape and no screws. It looks really good. We'll see how it holds up during our three month trip out west starting next week.
