I carry the belt and fuel filters as suggested by Camp Freightliner. Of course, it would be ridiculous to carry every spare part. The idea of the fuel filters is for when you get a dirty fill of diesel. Even though roadside services may be very responsive, when they get to your rig, they find out what's wrong and then have to get the part, which may take several days.

Since dirty diesel and a broken belt are probably higher probabilities then anything else, carrying fuel filters and a belt may be good insurance.

I have researched this pretty good and Coach-Net offers a roadside assist /repair plan (pretty reasonable too!) The cover Canada and AK fairly well, but it may take a day for them to get to you if you are really "out there" so my spare parts (other than the obligatory flat repair plugs & fuses) kit will be minimal...what do ya'll consider critical?

I have Good Sams Roadside Assistance, I have used it once when I had tranny problems.
