Broken Cable On Berksire Generator Slide Out Tray

Has anyone had the cable to the generator slide tray replaced or replaced it themselves? My front generator compartment cable would not disengage the latch assembly, I went underneath and examine the cable assembly set up, it seems fairly simple and straight forward to replace.

Haven't done it but yes, it's a fairly straight forward setup. Not sure where i'd go for the part.... There's some generic hood cables on Amazon but I'm sure the right part is out there somewhere.

FR will charge you a lot, plus shipping. Maybe you can get a part number from them.

It's done. Ordered cable from FR in Elkhart, IN and replaced it myself. Simple job just be condescend of old cable location to ensure installation of replacement cable correctly.

Better question. Did the part come with a manufacture identification and part number???

That cable it on my spring check list for lube along with steps and generator slides and generator latches.
