Bunkhouse slide problem

We are starting week three of a four week trip and when we pulled our slide out nj the morning, heard a loud crack and upon inspection see that the interior bracket that holds the slide wires has pulled off the sidewall. (See picture) it doesn't look like it was anchored very secretly in the first place. Anyone have something similar happen? The mechanism looks fine and all wires attached. We were able to pull the slide in the rest of the way so we could drive. Wondering if we need to keep slide in for the rest of the trip (ugh!). Already made appointment to drop it off at dealers on the way home for repair. Click image for larger version

What year Berkshire is that. Can you get the screws bak in place? It looks like something got hung up and it just pulled the bracket off the wall. Not sure if I would open that slide until I found what was causing it to bind like that.

A few of us BH owners have had problems with the bunk slide, I don't remember reading about this problem happening before though, most have been the motor itself going out or the motor shaft breaking. I would not attempt to open that slide again. Those cables work both ways to open and close the slide. This could be an easy fix if you can get to it and re secure it to the wall.

It's a 2014. It does look like we could get it back in place, just not sure how to get in there. It's pretty narrow even with slides pulled in.

We were close to our original dealer wen it happened but they couldn't fix it today. Were heading to another campground and will try to fix it ourselves or call coach net.

We tried to move it a little today (husband needed to get some underwear) and it looks to be moving crooked. So we are leaving it alone and finishing our trip with it in. We can manage. We have some other things that need fixed so this is hopefully the only major problem.

All part of life on the road!
