If that window with the 'felt' around it the Emergency window?
In any case, it looks like a big gap to me in the pictures.
Unless the pictures are fooling me, I think you found at least one of the leaks.

I agree. Sorry the ?? was meant that I was confused. I'm just wondering why the bedroom window has it but not the other emergency window.

Can anyone explain where the water is leaking from.

The way that mattress is stained I would say the leak is coming from above the slide, leaking on the mattress top and soaking in. It is not coming from the bottom then traveling up the side of the mattress.

I meant the facing, not the mattress itself.

None. As one poster stated earlier it appears to be wicking from the bottom.

I would bet it is coming in the top slide seal. I have a little rain gutter over top of mine. Do you use the slide locks? My slide locks go on the top of the slide when in and when tightened pull the top seal in tight so the seal can't leak.
