Can you use your Equalizer leveler........

if they punch through the pads? We parked overnight at Pioneer Village RV Park in Carlisle, PA The sites were grass and when we let the levelers down on blocks the leveler pushed the blocks over a foot deep into the ground. They later told me it had rained for a week. The levelers came up fine but one of the rear pads punched through and you can spin it like a top and the other was bent. We have not used the levelers since. We are now in Kennebunkport and would like to use the levelers if it is safe to do so. I plan to order new pads and have them installed when we return to Alabama.

I would not use them if they are not attached to the cylinder ram if it shifts wrong you can bend the ram .

What year coach do you have? There is another thread where others have had the same problem.

Equalizer Systems has an upgraded jack pad that was tested to 12K lbs without punching through. I just had all four replaced; Eq Sys sent the pads gratis (he didn't ask if I was still under warranty and I didn't volunteer the info that I'm not). I did have to pay the labor to have them replaced. I've had two punch through before the new pads were installed.

FWIW, it can be a b**** to get the old ones off. My tech heated the bolt, beat on it with a hammer, etc. He said he'd sooner arm wrestle a grizzly bear than do the job again!!

Boowho??

Leveler pads

We have a 2013 Berkshier where retracting the jacks at a truck stop one pad fell off. And then somewhere between Weed NV. and Tucson AZ we lost 3 pads. it's in the shop for repair now.
