We have not used the levelers since. We are now in Kennebunkport and would like to use the levelers if it is safe to do so. I plan to order new pads and have them installed when we return to Alabama.
Equalizer Systems has an upgraded jack pad that was tested to 12K lbs without punching through. I just had all four replaced; Eq Sys sent the pads gratis (he didn't ask if I was still under warranty and I didn't volunteer the info that I'm not). I did have to pay the labor to have them replaced. I've had two punch through before the new pads were installed.
FWIW, it can be a b**** to get the old ones off. My tech heated the bolt, beat on it with a hammer, etc. He said he'd sooner arm wrestle a grizzly bear than do the job again!!
