Carefree awning clicking

How do I call Carefree. My awning is clicking and wont extend. Any ideas? Phone numbers?

Sorry, I do not. Last time I worked with them it was through a local dealer and email to the company. Doesn't look like they take calls at the factory itself.

Sounds like your drive gear may have slipped and it's not engaging.... Can you take the cover off and take a peek???

How do you get cover off when awning is closed? Looks like screws are behind the cover

Which awning is it???? Door or slide??? Sounds like door if it's clicking....

Last week in a drive from Amarillo Texas to Angel Fire NM the large forward slide awning and the metal spool tube on the right side ripped off our 2016 Berkshire. It was windy and we did not realize the slide awning loss until we stopped for the evening. Now we are faced with where to secure a replacement and how to prevent another occurance.

Others with experience and recommendations will be appreciated.
