Carefree of Colorado window awnings

I installed two carefree window awnings the other day. They are a little pricey, but worth it. Not too hard of an install. Centered the rail, ran a chalk line put the rail up with butyl tape and started drilling. That's the hardest part, drilling screws into the wall. Here are a few pics of the install. Now I need to clean the fingerprints off.Click image for larger version

Were there templates or hoe were you certain you’d anchor into something solid? We’ve been thinking of adding them as well. Yours look good!

No templates were provided. The rail is 6" longer that the window so we measured the center point for the window and the rail and lined them up. The rail mounts 3" above the window so we just measured and ran a chalk line. I marked a couple of spots on the wall when there was some dew on the outside and I hit a few frame pieces (I think).

Can you give details as to what model and number you ordered from Carefree for your 34QS. What were the measurements for awnings. Thanks for your help.

Sure.
Model SL window Awning
Canopy color, R103, black acrylic
Guard, black flxgard
Thread, white
Spring color, black
Arms, black

Bedroom window 56"
Sofa window 67"

There is a guide on their website to help you order the correct size, basically, you need to add 3" on each end to the width of your window.
