I learned the hard way that these latches do a terrible day od holding when the rv is in motion.

One of the doors slammed open and įrashed into the handle of the second door. The impact caused the door frame to break and the mirror to become loose. After using epoxy to fix the frame I turned my focus to a way of locking the doors in place.

I cut two pieces of dowel that would be used to fit between each door and the frame.

In order to make removal of the dowel dowel easy ... I glued two pieces of 1/4 inch dowel to the top of each.

X2 lefaivre. One of my doors slammed open on the way home from picking up the new MH. The door frame split apart at one corner, I tried other latches, including the roller style. The doors are just too heavy. The final solution is wooden dowels in the track. I just made a tab handle by folding over a piece of duck tape in the center.
