That's a nifty idea bb920. Mine were also too far away from window, so I reinstalled them closer to the window, virtualy no gaps now.
Also, my 38A did not come with sun shade in windshield, only the night shade.

My 5er came with the blinds and all have the valence extend the length of the window.

Very slight gaps on mine on front driver side window and bedroom/street side slide out windows. Just used velcro strips on them and attach lightly. Works well so far.

bb920 I replaced all of my living room with wood valance. I didn't do that but i wish I had. Brad and Hall in Elkhart Ind. did the work

I don't have that problem! I have a surveillance camera that shows me if somebody approaches, so no "surprises".

We just spent the last few days next to folks with a class A. they left the front windshield wide open the whole time so you could observe like you were looking into an aquarium. It seemed quite odd especially after darkness when they had all their interior lights on
