Clothes Line Caboose

My DW wanted a small clothes line on the MH. I seen many home-made ones that hung on the rear ladder using PVC for the frame. I'd like to share another idea, by hanging one on the rear cap doors. I generally do not have my ladder attached.

I used sched. 20 1" PVC. All joints are glued except for the diagonal supports. The frame can lay in the bottom of my cargo pull-out shelf with hardly taking any room.

I drilled out the top and bottom pop rivets on each door, using a 1/4" bit to removed the rivet head. The rivets where replace with #10-24 stainless bolts and a wing nut is used for holding the rack and supports.

I like to give and receive ideas; give me yours!

Hank

Nice!!! As an added feature, you could also start the engine and blow the clothes dry! 👍

In Tampa last year we camped next to a nice couple from Canada that had a dry rack like that. The only issue was she hung her rather large semi huge underwear on it not what you want to see next to you.
