CO alarm

My carbon monoxide alarm goes off every time my coach sits for an extended time (+ 1 week). I shut down the coach batteries when I close up and the green light stays on. It eventually starts to blink red and go off. When I try to turn on my coach batteries at the door, nothing happens. I then start the coach and can in turn now turn on the batteries. The only way to make the alarm stop is to turn on the KVH switch underneath the TV. This sounds like another dealer swcrew up to me, any one else have problems with the alarm?
