Mike,
That magnum piece that you show in your picture gets connected to the negative terminal with the cable. You should hook them both up under the same nut to the rear negative terminal closest to the back wall of the compartment. I think that will solve you issue.

Did you look at the magnum in the compartment itself? Possibly a breaker on the magnum needs to be reset.

Can't find a breaker or fuse on inverter.

Mike the breaker is behind the inverter. You will not be able to see it. Reach in right on top the inverter and to the right a little on the back side. You will feel the breaker/ switch. Turn it off then on again.

Also, there should be a 2 push buttons on the inverter that could need resetting.
